James Bond is cool under pressure and smooth with ladies. Sure, he’s not real person, but he represents an ideal of sophisticated masculinity. James Bond is an archetype. He represents all of the qualities that women find irresistibly attractive- he is confident, charismatic, aggressive, assertive, and emotionally in control. It is, of course, impossible to try to live your life everyday using a fictional character as a role model, but being an archetype,, the James Bond persona can be a rough guide for what works and what doesn’t work with females.

How does this mental trick work?

Simple. When you find yourself trying to decide what next to do with a woman, think to yourself: Is this something James Bond would do?

For example, if you called a girl and left a message and she hasn’t returned your calls or texts, should you keep bombarding her phone or cool off and give her time to respond? To answer that question, let’s think about what would Bond do? Of course, we know it will be a cold day in hell before Bond would make himself look desperate to a woman. He would never call her more than necessary. And neither should you?
